Our company completed its establishment on 09.02.1990 and commenced production in its factory in Istanbul Dudulu. Initially, Cellulosic Thinner, Synthetic Thinner and Synthenic Naphtha products hit the shelves under Aker logo. The quality of the products released to the market, continuity and the trust company earned in the sector ensured Aker Company to be a trademark in thinner sector in a short time.

Aker, who rapidly increased its market share, moved to its new facilities in Tuzla Paint and Varnish Organized Industrial Site, BOSB, in June 2002. In this facility, which is extremely safe and eco-friendly both in terms of technology and equipments, a very high storage (600 tons storage capacity) and production (200 tons/day) capacity has been attained.

Another big progress in 2004 was entering into furniture group paint and varnish sector with SOLTECH brand. Soltech aims to be the representative of quality in the sector and to be the pioneer by bringing innovations to the sector.

Our company, which made a great advance with quality system in 2007, has been entitled to acquire ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and took its place among the prominent firms in the sector by certificating that; it adopts working principles respectful to its worthy business associates, its employees and environment.

Just like until today, Aker Chemistry will adopt the principle of rapidly and effectively meeting customer demands and requirements in all the sectors it operates and in all product groups, and also representing stability and trust in the sector from now on.
